2024 Season

This year marks the 5th anniversary of Dutch Creek Outfitters, and I am thrilled to announce that our hunters were able to fill 100% of their tags for the fifth year straight! This was also our best season to date for trophy deer, with an average on 7 trophy deer at 168 inches! Congratulation to Eric from PA for taking the years big buck, a beautiful 5x5 scoring 181 3/8 gross. Congratulations to Dustin from PA for taking his first ever mule deer, a spectacular 5x5 scoring 173 5/8! Michael from PA took one of the coolest, widest, and oldest bucks I have ever seen on the ranch who still scored in the mid 150’s without brow tines and without a G4 on one side! Congratulations to Mindy from AZ for making a great shot on her first mule deer buck, a beautiful 5x5 with some extra points, after a long and challenging stalk. And congratulations to Steve from AZ for waiting it out for 5 hours in the sun to finally make a well placed shot on a tremendous, wide 5x5, who stayed bedded for the longest time! Congratulations to Milton from NJ for taking his first mule deer buck and antelope buck, and congratulations to his hunting partner Robert, who also took his first antelope buck and took home a whopper deer too! We braved hot, dry weather, and lots of smoke from the Elk fire burning in northern Wyoming, but our clients are the best and are willing to put in the effort and time it takes to harvest western trophy big game animals. 2023 Season

Our hunters filled 100% of their tags again this year! Congratulations to Julian from CA for harvesting a true trophy mule deer scoring over 186 gross Boone and Crockett. Jule’s deer had 25 inch main beams and 40 inches of mass! He was a 5 1/2 + year old deer, with a big body, and in really good condition. What a buck! All the deer had a nice fat cover on them this year, which was good to see. They did not lack for feed this summer, as we had lots of moisture. Congratulations to Corey and Sean for harvesting their first big game animals, they did fantastic. Bill Elliott from PA made the shot of the year at, perfectly placed at 400 yards on a beautiful buck. Congratulations to Dick, Art, Antonio, Steve, and Mindy for doing such a great job hunting, making excellent shots, and being a pleasure to be around. Thank you to Derek and Sheridan for doing an awesome job helping me guide. Hunting conditions could not have been better, not too hot, nor too cold. Deer numbers were average or maybe even slightly above average, which was a relief, especially considering how brutal the 2022-2023 winter was.

2022 Season

Thank God our hunters were able to fill 100% of their tags this year. We had 3 solid days of rain and fog to start off the season, which was definitely out of the ordinary, but made for some interesting hunting conditions. Congratulation to all our hunters, especially Eric from PA who harvested the big deer of the year scoring 178 2/8” gross B&C, and Dustin from PA who harvested the big antelope of the year scoring 69 5/8” gross B&C.

2021 Season

What a great time we had in 2021! We had weather ranging from mid 80’s, to low 40’s and rainy, which made for some challenging hunting. Our hunters could not have done a better job making good shots, and we were 100% on 12 animals. The average score on trophy deer was 159”, with the best deer scoring 178 4/8”. The best antelope was 13” with great mass and beautiful curls and hooks. Congrats to all our hunters for making such good stalks and great shots on their animals this year! We saw lots of great looking young bucks for next year as well, and doe and fawn numbers looked excellent.

2020 Season

We had a great hunting season this year! The hunting was tough at times as the weather was plenty warm, but we were fortunate to have great clients who know how to stick it out to harvest great deer and antelope. We also saw lots of great young buck deer who are going to be tremendous trophies in a year or two!
